Earlier today, Warner Bros. revealed that Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is scheduled to launch worldwide on October 7th. Along with this announcement came a brand new story trailer for the game, which is embedded above for you all to check out.
The video above introduces us to the main character and gives us a small preview of his storyline. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has already drawn strong comparisons to both Assassin’s Creed and Batman: Arkham Asylum thanks to the gameplay trailer that debuted earlier this year. Gamers who want to preorder the game will gain access to the Dark Ranger pack which includes an exclusive playable character skin and Test of Power challenge mode. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor will be launching on the exact same day as Alien: Isolation. It will be interesting to see how both of these games will fare when evaluated by both gamers and critics alike this fall.
