During a jam-packed EA Play, Electronic Arts showcased some brand new updates for The Sims 4 — including a brand new expansion pack focusing on sun, sand, and sea.
Releasing on PC and consoles, Island Living, players can visit an island for some laid back summer vibes that’ll feature open-water environments and activities such as swimming, jetski, or more.
If maxin’ and relaxin’ isn’t fun enough, players can live near a live volcano and enjoy the sights of debris and the possibility of lava scorching both the earth and their AI. On the beachfront side of things, there’s sandcastles to build, sunburns to have and mermaids to create (hey, Ariel!).
For the gardeners in the world, over time the island will terraform with proper care of the island and ocean. Thriving under a players green thumb, rich and plentiful greenery and glorious ecosystem filled with butterflies will transform over time.
Island Living will release on PC and Mac on June 21st while console players will have to wait until July 16th.
