After the release of his new album “Trill O.G. The Epilogue“, Bun B is this week’s featured artist for Throwback Thursday.
We will look back on five tracks from Bun B’s discography including his UGK work with his former partner in crime Pimp C.
The first track of our selection is “Front, Back & Side to Side“. This track is from UGK’s sophomore album “Super Tight” which was released in 1994. The song samples Eazy-E‘s “Boyz-N-The-Hood (Remix)”
The second track is “Diamonds & Wood“. From UGK’s third album from 1996 titled “Ridin’ Dirty“, “Diamonds & Wood” is produced by N.O. Joe and Pimp C.
Track three of our selected five is “Pushin’“. This track is from Bun B’s 2005 debut album “Trill”. The song was produced by Mr. Lee and featured Scarface and Jeezy.
The fourth track is “Get Throwed“. This song was also on Bun B’s debut album and features Pimp C, Z-Ro, and Jeezy. Jay Z features on the album version. Mr. Lee also produced this song.
The last track from our selection is “Trill Ass Nigga” from UGK’s 1992 debut album “Too Hard To Swallow“.
