After the release of Juicy J‘s “Stay Trippy” album, this week’s Throwback Thursday looks back on some Three 6 Mafia.
The Tennessee rap group has released 10 albums and we are going to look back on 5 tracks from those albums.
The first track from our Three 6 Mafia selection is “Da Summa“. This was from their debut album “Mystic Stylez“, which was released in 1995.
Track two is “Hit A Muthafucka“. This track is featured on their 1997 album “Chapter 2: World Domination“. This track was produced by both members of Three 6 Mafia – DJ Paul and Juicy J.
The third track is “Crank Dis Bitch Up” from their 1994 underground mixtape “Smoked Out, Loced Out“. At this time they weren’t known as Three 6 Mafia but “Triple 6 Mafia“. The song also features Gangsta Blac.
“Dis Bitch, Dat Hoe” is the fourth track from our selection. This featured on the movie soundtrack of “Choices: The Movie“. The 2001 track features appearances from Ludacris, Project Pat and Crunchy Black.
Track five is from 2003. “Bin Laden” is from their album “Da Unbreakables“. Again, the track was produced by DJ Paul and Juicy J.
