LEGO Universe Will Soon Adopt Free-to-Play Features

Written by on

As some of you may know I recently posted about Fallen Earth undergoing a F2P conversion. More news in: LEGO Universe will soon adopt free features as well. Unlike many other MMOs recently, they are not adopting a full conversion, but just an extended trial really. Two of the beginning adventure areas will be open to players,  and you will have one personal area to build items. There will not be an item shop at all, subscriptions will still exist in their current state, this is just a free option for players to test the game out. No purchase necessary, with a free download. It will be hitting an interweb near you this August.

What do you think of the news? I think it’s great, and I will probably actually give the game a try. I was always intrigued by the idea of it as there seems to be lots of possibilities. Leave your comment below!
