Throwdown Ep. 85 – The Death of Xbox One Exclusives

Written by on

Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!

It was announced that Halo 5‘s Forge Maps would be coming to PC. With Microsoft’s push to develop its exclusive games for PC, this announcement shouldn’t come as a big surprise. However, how will the Microsoft faithful who said that the Halo series would never come to PC react when a full Halo game is released on PC? Will the Xbox One then have absolutely no exclusives to call its own? Will the system be worth owning at that point? We go into full detail about this.

Other topics we discuss:

– More information about what Hideo Kojima is up to
Assassin’s Creed film to be set mostly in the present
– EA rushes Battlefront to coincide with The Force Awakens
– Journalists who suck at games
Grand Theft Auto V ships 65 million copies
Gran Turismo Sport reveal trailer
