Today, Ubisoft finally confirmed the existence of Assassin’s Creed: Unity by releasing a brand new sneak peek trailer to the masses. The video is embedded above for you all to check out.
While the in-game footage doesn’t reveal who the next protagonist will be, it does successfully demonstrate just how impressive the setting will look. Assassin’s Creed: Unity is expected to take place during the French Revolution and is being developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Screenshots from the game originally leaked out earlier this week and fans have been talking about the title ever since. We can expect to hear more about Assassin’s Creed: Unity during Ubisoft’s annual E3 conference in June.
Will this game be connected in anyway to Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag? While my best guess is yes, I’m still a little puzzled as to why this game isn’t titled as Assassin’s Creed V instead. Hopefully we will find out all that and more soon enough.
