Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Releases in March

Earlier today, Square Enix Senior Product Manager Sakura Minamida confirmed via the PlayStation Blog that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be releasing on March 18th in North America and on March 21st in Europe. A brand new Tidus and Yuna trailer is embedded above for you all the check out.

In addition to the release date news, Minamida also confirmed that the creative team decided to update the Limited Edition packaging for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. The package now features a gorgeous HD cover render of both Tidus and Yuna along with an exclusive concept artbook. An image of the package is listed below:

With all this news dropping regarding the PlayStation 3 version of the game, Minamida failed to give an update on the PlayStation Vita version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD. Sony is currently hedging all their bets on this being successful and hopefully the Vita version can be an integral part of that success. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will also be releasing the same month as both TitanFall and Infamous: Second Son. I personally can’t wait to see how this game performs saleswise when compared to all of the next-gen titles that will be out by then.

Do any of you plan on picking up Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD when it releases on March 18th? Do you think it’s a mistake for Square Enix to release this game the same month as Titanfall and Infamous: Second Son? Please feel free to us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
