Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo Is Now Available To The Masses

Just letting you all know that the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo is now available for download right now on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. I know some of you downloaded a demo for Lost Planet 2 a while back but that was the co-op version, this one lets you jump into a 16 player multiplayer match on one of the 10 maps the game will ship with. The map is called “Turbulent Jungle” for those of you who want to know.

Also by downloading the demo you will be taking part in Capcom’s “Kill Big for Charity” program which has been setup to raise money for disaster relief and disaster risk mitigation. More info on the program can be seen below.

Capcom is partnering with Music for Relief, a non-profit organization dedicated to disaster relief and disaster risk mitigation, to contribute $20,000 to charity if one million demos are downloaded across both XBL and PSN before May 5, 2010. An additional $5,000 will be added to the pot if an extra 500,000 demos can be achieved. The specific cause to receive the donation will be determined by a celebrity tournament on May 6 in Los Angeles. The winning team of that tournament will choose which Music for Relief program will receive the funds.

So what are you waiting for, go download the demo, kill some dudes and raise money for charity.
