Ubisoft’s E3 conference just wrapped up and they too saved their biggest announcement for last. Now this may not be a big announcement for all gamers but no one can deny that this isn’t big news or historical. President and CEO of Ubisoft revealed that a dance game involving the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson, is in the works.
“We’re delighted to have the opportunity to develop a game based on the songs and moves of one of the world’s most incredible performers of all time,” said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft. “We expect the game to bring Michael Jackson fans, families and friends together with the energetic song and dance of The King of Pop.”
We know Michael Jackson was gamer so I can imagine he’d be flattered by having a game based on his dancing and musical talent.I must hand it to Ubisoft for pulling the rug underneath the competition. Harmonix’s Dance Central is going to have some tough competition, nobody can compete with the King of Pop.
The game doesn’t seem to have a name set in stone so far, but you’ll get a chance to imitate the King of Pop this holiday 2010. The game will be available for Xbox 360 with Kinect and Playstation 3 with Move, and on Nintendo Wii and DS.
