THQ has finally removed the curtain off of Darksiders 2 with the latest Game Informer cover. The magazine has a 10-page look at the new game but if you want to see the game in action you have to watch the first trailer for the game.
I like a great CG trailer myself but THQ gives us what we want, gameplay. The trailer shows off our new “hero” Death, War’s brother, in action and this horseman knows how to kill someone. Visually speaking, Darksiders 2 looks alot like the first game in terms of graphics and setting. I did enjoy the first game even though I did feel like it got tedious and repetitive near the end. It was a solid game nonetheless and that’s what I expect of the sequel.
Darksiders 2 is due out sometime in 2012. Check out the announcement trailer below.
