This is something I’ve been waiting on for a very long time. Netflix has announced that they will finally launch in the UK and Ireland early next year. Whilst no specific window of release was given, this is very exciting news and it comes a lot earlier than I thought. UK and Ireland will be the first regions in Europe to receive the service that allows users to stream movies from a majority of devices such as consoles, iPad’s, PC’s, TV’s and more.
UK users have had to settle for LoveFilm which is a similar serviced owned by good old Amazon. I haven’t used LoveFilm before, but from what I’ve heard it doesn’t compare to the library Netflix has in the US. My question is, will they be able to deliver the same library US users enjoy to UK users?
Time will tell!
