Today, Jay-Z posted a video on his blog Lifeandtimes.com revealing that he will serve as the Executive producer for NBA 2k13. You can get a glimpse of the clip above.
It’s currently unclear if Jay-Z’s involvement will only be with the soundtrack or with other aspects of the game itself. As a long time fan of the series, I consider the news good but I rather hear more about the game’s features and more importantly how this title will differentiate itself from NBA 2k12. Hopefully 2k doesn’t get lazy and make this more about who is on the project rather then what’s new with the product.
