Jay-Z’s 12th album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” has dropped today and to mark the release, TheKoalition.com has compiled a play list of 12 Jay-Z songs.

These are songs from Jay-Z’s lengthy library that we believe should be heard by anyone interested in listening to Jay-Z, or Hip-Hop in general.

Even though Jay-Z now has 15 studio albums to his name, “Magna Carta Holy Grail” will be Hov’s 12th solo album. The other 3 albums being 2 R. Kelly projects and the infamous Kanye WestWatch The Throne” collab-album.

This play list contains classic songs including his early days as a hungry MC on his classic debut album “Reasonable Doubt” to his other classic albums such as “The Blueprint” and “The Black Album” where he became a certified Hip-Hop superstar.
