Insomniac yesterday revealed that Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be releasing on November 12th for the price of $29.99.
The game will be coming to both retail and PSN and will provide a shorter experience to previous Ratchet & Clank game. As a result of this, the price has been lower to reflect that.
James Stevenson, Community Manager at Insomniac said on the PS Blog: “We relished this ability to tie a bow on the PS3 era of Ratchet with a shorter title. We have a lot of stories to tell, some longer, some shorter. This one felt just right. It’s a very polished self-contained return to the Ratchet adventures of yore.”
In addition to announcing the date and price, Insomniac also released the video embedded above ‘Gamatorium’, which is great little video which shows how Insomniac made the game.
I love it when developers create smaller versions of their older games. It shows that they are still faithful to the series without them having to commit years of their time on the product. By Insomniac making Into the Nexus, it shows that they still care about the Ratchet & Clank games and by releasing this they are going to make long term fans of the series very happy.
