Xbox One will release on November 22nd in 13 territories including the US and Europe, Microsoft announced today. The other markets include: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, and Spain. There will also be additional Xbox One Day One consoles available for pre-order at retailers.
Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft’s VP of marketing said the following
“We are humbled and gratified by the tremendous interest in Xbox One from game fans everywhere. We sold out of our pre-order supply faster than at any other time in our history and we are on path to have the biggest launch of an Xbox ever.”
See the official Xbox website for more details on the launch, as well as information on getting a Day One edition of the console from retailers.
Although Microsoft are releasing after the PS4 in the US, it’s interesting to note that not only are they releasing before Sony in Europe, but they are also releasing in all 13 territories on the same day.
