Earlier today, SCE San Diego Studio confirmed via Facebook that the PlayStation 4 version of MLB 14: The Show will launch on May 6th. Prior to this announcement, the studio stated that the both the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions of the game are still scheduled to debut on April 1st.
The PlayStation 4 version of MLB 14: The Show is expected to have better graphics, hair and beard dynamics, and several improved gameplay features across the board. Diehard baseball fans will also be able to start a season in either the PS3 or Vita version of the game and continue their progress on the next-gen console. After the debacle regarding the MLB 2K series, MLB 14: The Show will easily be the most talked about baseball game for many years to come.
For those who may also be wondering, the PS4 version of this game will have a resolution of 1080p and run smoothly at 60 fps. Aside from this fact and the feature described above, it is not currently know what else this version will offer over the others. As soon as I learn more, I’ll be happy to share it with all of you.
If you haven’t had a chance to explore what the MLB series has to offer, then I would like to encourage you all to check out my in-depth review of MLB 13: The Show.
