Though the recent European and Asian stress tests for Street Fighter V were “successful” according to Capcom in their latest Capcom Unity blog post, the same could not be said for the first stress test that took place in North America. However, we North Americans, along with our South American siblings, will soon get another chance to play Street Fighter V and hopefully have it go off smoother.
The stress test dates are as follows:
- 8/25 (TUE) 4pm~midnight PT
- 8/26 (WED) 4pm~midnight PT
“Please note that although we anticipate these tests to run smoother than before, there may still be issues experienced by some users,” says Capcom in the post. “All data received during each of the stress tests will help us improve the online experience moving forward, and we appreciate your understanding and support. Please make sure to follow @SFVServer on Twitter, as we will be posting updates regarding the online server status there if any issues arise.”
For the upcoming test, Capcom advices participants to use a wired connection instead of WiFi and to not download anything while they play the beta. After these two stress test dates are completed, Capcom will then reveal the dates and times for the five day global stress test.
If we’re able to get online, we’ll bring you an updated impressions post on this current beta test. For now, check out what we had to say about the initial test.
