Killer Instinct Season 3 Coming in March 2016; Battletoad’s Rash Available Today

Shannon Loftis, head of publishing for Microsoft Studios, took the stage in Germany during the Xbox Gamescom Media Briefing to talk about all things Killer Instinct related. There was quite a bit of exciting news for fans of the series to chew on.

The biggest news is that Killer Instinct Season 3 is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in March of 2016. The game will support cross-play between the XBO and PC, and all third party fightsticks and fightpads will be supported just like they are currently.

The game will featured a new batch of fighters, one of which is Rash from Battletoads. Rash will be available to play on Killer Instinct today but only until September 8th at 12am PT. Players can get Rash if they purchased Killer Instinct content or if they own the recently released Rare Replay collection.
