On a recently deleted Xbox Store listing, first noted by Reddit, the Need For Speed reboot’s release date, as well as some features, have been reportedly leaked.
The store listing has been deleted as of this post, but screenshots for the game show that we can expect it release on November 3. Through the leak, we also learned about some features that were previously unannounced. There will apparently be five game modes available: Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw.
The game will also feature “multiple overlapping stories” that allow the player to “carve your own unique path”. The setting of the game seems to also have been revealed in the following blurb:
West Coast Urban Setting: Discover a nocturnal open world of urban car culture you never knew existed. Ventura Bay is your urban playground; from downtown, the harbour and the canyons, the city comes alive while you sleep.
It seems as if this is another case of something that was prepped for E3 leaking a bit too early. Expect to hear more about this in the coming month, but we’ll update this post should anything else develop.
