Looks like Ubisoft took a dash of Splinter Cell, mixed it with a big helping of FarCry, and threw in the war on drugs for good measure. What you get is Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, a new game in the series that at first glance takes as much from other Ubisoft titles as it does from it’s own pedigree.
Ghost Recon is stated to be Ubisoft’s biggest open world to date. According to Ubisoft, “Set a few years from now, Ghost Recon Wildlands lets players lead a team of Ghosts, a four-player U.S. Elite Special Operations unit, on a covert mission to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, an underworld power and growing global threat within Ubisoft’s imagining of an incredibly beautiful, yet dangerous Bolivia. Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in the largest and most diverse action-adventure open world Ubisoft has created to date.”
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date at this time.
