Earlier today, SCEA VP of Marketing John Koller revealed in a PlayStation blog post that an Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection PS4 Bundle is currently scheduled to hit stores on October 9th. This package will feature a standard 500GB PS4 console and a copy of the game for $399.99. An image of the bundle is embedded below for you all to check out.
Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection includes all the single-player campaigns from the first three Uncharted games and future access to the multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. A video of the upcoming TV commercial for this title is also embedded below.
The announcement of this bundle is hardly surprising given just how important the Uncharted franchise is to the PlayStation brand. With a Star Wars Limited Edition PS4 bundle also scheduled to drop in November, it’s clear that Sony aims to make bundle sales their number one priority this holiday season.
Do any of you think this was a smart move by Sony to release this bundle? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on this and more in the comments section below.
