Earlier today, Netflix confirmed via their Twitter account that Marvel’s highly anticipated Iron Fist show will begin streaming worldwide on March 17th, 2017. This tweet includes a brief teaser trailer and is embedded below for you all to check out.

Iron Fist follows the trials and tribulations of Billionaire Buddist Monk Danny Rand as he returns to New York and uses Kung Fu and the powers of the Iron Fist to fight corruption. Game of Thrones star Finn Jones is expected to take on the lead role. Iron Fist is the fourth of several Marvel shows to appear on Netflix including the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. A Punisher spinoff show is also in development along with The Defenders which will feature all four of the previously mentioned heroes as a team. Both of these shows are also expected to debut sometime in 2017.
