Slimmer Xbox One Images Leak, Is 40% Smaller Than Original

Just one day out from Microsoft’s E3 conference, images of their updated take on the Xbox One have leaked, thanks to NeoGAF.

The Xbox One Slim (or Edmonton) will be a whopping 40% smaller than the original Xbox One, while also sporting a 2TB hard drive. The console will also support 4K Ultra HD video, which has been long rumored ever since the original idea of new consoles leaked. Also changing is the controller, although from the mages, it doesn’t look like Microsoft went too far away from their original design.

Along with the Edmonton, Microsoft is also rumored to be releasing another, more powerful console in 2017. That Xbox One (codenamed Scorpio) is reported to be significantly more powerful than the original Xbox One, and even more powerful than Sony’s new PlayStation Neo. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow for more concrete news, but take a look at the images of the new, sleek Xbox One.
