Earlier today, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed that PS4 exclusive Days Gone has been officially delayed till 2019. This news came directly from Eurogamer and Sony’s brief statement on the matter is listed below.
“We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”
Days Gone is a highly anticipated action-adventure survival horror game that takes place within a post-apocalyptic open-world and revolves around the trials and tribulations of former Bounty Hunter Deacon St. John. Prior to today’s news, many had speculated that the game was expected to launch later this year.
Speaking of PS4 exclusives, Sony is already primed to have a great year despite this delay. With Shadow of the Colossus remake already out and God of War, Detroit: Become Human and Spider-Man still planned for the months ahead, gamers will certainly have more than enough content to keep them busy for awhile.
Are any of you disappointed that Days Gone won’t be out until early next year? Please feel free to let us know your thoughts on the delay and more in the comments section below.
