From a superhero in the DC Universe, to a performer caught in the middle of racial injustice and police brutality, and an artistic guitarist struggling with bipolar disorder, actor Joseph David-Jones has brought to life some of the most dynamic characters in film and television today.
This year, David-Jones can be seen reprising his fan favorite role as Connor Hawke aka “The Green Arrow” in the final season of The CW’s longstanding action-superhero series Arrow. Over eight seasons, the show has followed a spoiled billionaire playboy, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who goes missing and returns five years later as a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow. Recently promoted to a series regular, Joseph shines as Connor, an agent of the knight watch and queen’s successor as the second Green Arrow.
David-Jones sat down with The Koalition to breakdown what could happen to his character this season, the dynamic shift after Crisis on Infinite Earths, how playing Hawke has changed him as an actor and more.
The eighth and final season of Arrow airs Tuesdays on The CW.
