Another 80’s Toy Line Gets a Movie Adaptation, Chris Bremner Attached to Write

Paramount has announced Chris Bremner will write the movie adaptation of M.A.S.K. Yes, the Hasbro’s toy line is getting a movie adaptation.

Co-writer on Bad Boys for Life, Bremner will also write the fourth installment of the Bad Boys franchise and Disney’s National Treasure 3while F. Gary Gray has been attached to direct the M.A.S.K.film since 2018. 

Making its action figure debt in 1985, M.A.S.K. aka Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, and its team members are an underground strike force tasked with fighting terrorists, including their enemies in V.E.N.O.M. (or Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem). The classic Hasbro toy line also eventually spawned comic books, video games, and a beloved animated series.

Former genius and a woman of mystery and power, whose power is exceeded only by her mystery, Dana Abercrombie has been watching movies since birth (yes birth...we did say "genius"). Despite her secret desire of wanting to give it all up to become a gorgeous billionaire, Dana is most passionate politics about movies often times getting in many heated debates resulting in being thrown out of many gatherings. Despite having a degree in English AND Journalism (multi-tasking FTW!) from the University at Albany-SUNY, she is currently interested in perusing a degree at Yale Law School, because one should never give up on a dream of becoming a gorgeous billionaire...and knowing how to sue someone as a result of those heated debates.
