Actress/comedian Sherry Cola wants fans to know, “we’re seeing an evolution of Alice” this season. Gone are the days when Alice is a “bottler of emotions,” pushed over by the residents of The Coterie. “If yesterday’s Alice was to look at today’s Alice, she’s wouldn’t even recognize her.”
Taking control of her now complicated life, Freeform’s Good Trouble fans were to treated to an Alice outside The Coterie as she meets new friends, establishing herself as a first-generation Asian-American stand-up comedian who dabbles in complicated love triangles.
To say fans are excited to see Alice’s transformation is an understatement. Within a 1 1/2 seasons, Alice went from being the silent pushover to showing a refreshing manipulative side that has her controlling people’s emotions. Does this means she’ll finally show the resident’s of The Coterie her newly developed badass side?
For Cola, who has appeared in Claws, Life in Pieces and even shared her voice-over talents with the NBA 2K18 video game; Alice’s new life is just the beginning as the show continues to explore a multitude of possibilities.
In an interview with The Koalition, the remarkable Cola further discusses all the good trouble Alice has gotten herself into during the show’s second season, Alice’s complicated relationship with Joey and Lindsey, her ability to relate to Alice’s struggles and more.
Good Trouble airs Wednesday’s on Freeform.
