Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Lopez First Look at a Hilarious Shotgun Trailer and Film Poster

It’s marriage time for Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel as they finally walk down the aisle alongside each other in the upcoming rom-com Shotgun Wedding. Now, finally, we have a trailer for the action-packed affair from director Jason Moore, that features the plot-twist of all plot twists.

The film, written by Mark Hammer, will stream on Prime Video in 2023 and follows Darcy (Lopez) and Tom (Duhamel), whose families are about to enjoy the festivities of their destination wedding. Starting off like any other rom-com trailer, familial hijinks soon ensue — right on cue, the groom’s mother Carol (Jennifer Coolidge) interrupts Darcy and Tom while they’re getting intimate! Darcy’s hot ex (Lenny Kravitz) arrives predictably arrives by helicopter looking cooler than the others. Oh look, the whole wedding party gets taken hostage by pirates!

Without warning, Darcy and Tom are fighting for their lives. Grenades are going off. Fistfights are breaking out and it’s not against each other’s family members. There’s even a random singalong to Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be.”.

Prime Video’s Shotgun Wedding is a “hilarious, adrenaline-fueled adventure as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones — if they don’t kill each other first.” The trailer promises laughs and hijinks, plus fans’ first look at Jennifer Coolidge in action in the role of Duhamel’s hysterical mother screaming, “Nobody fucks with my family!”

Joining leads Lopez and Duhamel are (Emmy-winner) Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, Selena Tan, and D’Arcy Carden. Callie Hernandez, Desmin Borges, Steve Coulter, and Alberto Isaac also star, as does rocker Lenny Kravitz.
