S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Coming To Xbox Series X/S And PC In 2023

During today’s Xbox Bethesda Extended Showcase event, GSC Game World released a brand new trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and confirmed that the upcoming first-person shooter survival horror title is coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023. The latest trailer is embedded above while a brief description of the game is included below.

In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, players take on the role of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R named Skif, a scavenger exploring a highly radioactive area outside of Chernobyl known as the Zone. The barren wasteland is home to many mutants and anomalies that threaten the lives of those brave enough to traverse the treacherous landscape. It is up to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R to explore the Zone while fighting off the nightmarish abominations standing between them and the luxurious treasures scattered throughout the environment.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was scheduled to launch in December but development was put on hold due to the war in Ukraine. Given the extreme and scary circumstances, it’s good to know that the studio made the wise decision to look out for their employees’ safety and well-being above all else. The game looked impressive when we saw it for the first time a few years ago and will definitely be worth the wait when everything is said and done.

Are any of you planning on picking it up next year? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
