During the Paean of Era Nova livestream, Hoyoverse announced a January 15th release date for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0. The new trailer is embedded above, and details on what you can expect are included below.
In the new expansion, players will embark on an exciting journey to the highly-anticipated new world of Amphoreus, marking the start of a thrilling new chapter in Honkai: Star Rail. The Trailblazer Mission in Amphoreus unfolds in two parts, spanning eight versions from 3.0 to 3.7, making it the most expansive story arc in Honkai: Star Rail’s history.
Leaving Penacony, the Planet of Festivities behind, the Astral Express sets course for Amphoreus under Black Swan’s guidance, aiming to replenish Trailblaze Fuel and unravel this celestial body’s mysteries. Amphoreus, shrouded in a chaotic vortex, is undetectable and incomprehensible from the outside, while its inhabitants remain entirely oblivious to the universe beyond. What secrets lie within this enigmatic world remain to be discovered.
In this new version, there will be three new playable characters – The Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer – adding excitement to the space odyssey. Moreover, during the new expansion, several old friends will reunite with the Trailblazer. Limited 5-star characters Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade will be making reruns. In the second half, the 5-star characters Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf will also be making a limited return.
