A new look at Matt Reeves’ The Batman is here and the fight for vengeance is on, as a really pissed off and emotional Robert Pattinson embodies a young version of the caped crusader.
Released during DC Fandome, the new trailer for Reeves’ Batman showcases once again his pursuit of Oswald Cobblepot, aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), and the funeral car-crash from a new angle. But then there’s Zoë Kravitz’s Selina Kyle who brings a different side to the trailer, contrasting all the anger Bruce gets to unleash, we’ve got some moments of quiet with Selina as she attempts to probe what kind of man sits behind the Batman’s angry mask.
Then there’s Paul Dano as the Riddler, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and even Jeffrey Wright’s Commissioner Gordon as Bruce turns his new persona as the Dark Knight into a petrifying unstoppable force—whether its bullets or car chases. Nothing, it seems, is going to stop this Batman.
Starring alongside Pattinson as Gotham’s famous and infamous cast of characters are Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson (“Farewell Amor”) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis as Alfred; and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.
The Batman’s will release on March 4, 2022.
