Welcome to episode 139 of The Co-op Podcast. This week we invited Anthony Frasier and Jakejames Lugo back on the show to discuss some of the latest topics in gaming. We’ve talked numerous times throughout the year about the lack of support for the Vita, and a few months back Sony even alluded to the fact that the Vita was a legacy platform. Now Sony has fully confirmed that there will be no more 1st party support for the device. As you can imagine, we’re very disappointed considering it was such a powerful device that never fully reached its potential.
The NPDs for September were released last week, and I was proved wrong because Forza Motorsport 6 didn’t chart in the top 10. Those who listen every week will remember that I predicted that Forza 6 would indeed chart in the top 10 on NPD, so be sure to listen and see what I had to say about the charts in response.
Also discussed this week is Microsoft switching up the way they report sales, and PC gaming becoming more mainstream.
We also give game impressions of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and Halo 5: Guardians
