Welcome to another episode of The Co-op Podcast. This week our Editor-in-chief Richard Bailey Jr. was out of town, so I took over hosting duties. On the panel we had British entrepreneur Nigel Twumasi who is a co-founder of mayamada a creative brand that produces comics / manga, clothing, chocolates, and more. Nigel also started his own event known as GamePad! that hosts gaming tournaments and more. Nigel decided to join us this week to discuss some of the big news stories, such as the Nintendo NX being able to be used with multiple devices.
A report in the Wall Street Journal spoke of the possibility of the NX being used with phones, PC and other devices. Some people have even gone on to speculate that you’ll somehow see the NX on PlayStation. We speak on some of these rumors as part of our main discussion.
Also this week, it was revealed that Destiny 2 was planned for release this Fall; however the team at Bungie and Activision have decided to delay the project to focus on producing more content. What will this mean for the first Destiny game? We speak on the possibilities.
Other topics discussed:
– FGC talk: Michael talks Street Fighter V competition and Mortal Kombat X
– Nintendo news: Star Fox Zero gets Amiibo support & Fire Emblem 3DS XL announced
Special Thanks: Gority, M. Collins
