The Co-op Podcast 166: Red Dead Redemption Backward Compatibility Shows the Value of Xbox One

Welcome to The Co-op Podcast episode 166. This week we’re introducing the newest member of the team Max Moeller. Max joins Richard Bailey Jr., Jakejames Lugo and I as we speak on some of the most recent discussions in the gaming industry. Red Dead Redemption has been made available on Xbox One and now everyone is excited to relive this epic western title. Since not everybody fully appreciates the value of backwards compatibility, we decided to talk about why it’s a great feature on the Xbox One.

This week also saw the release of a new phenomenon, Pokemon Go. After spending some time with the game, Jakejames and Max talk through their experiences playing the game. We also address some of the crazy stories that have come out regarding people playing Pokemon Go.

Also discussed on this episode:
– Sega acquires Amplitude studios. Could Sega become one of the power publishers again?
