The Co-op Podcast 300: The Nintendo Switch Dominates the June NPDs

On this week’s episode of The Co-op Podcast, we share our thoughts on The Witcher Netflix trailer, Nintendo Switch dominating the June 2019 NPDs and the MCU Phase 4 announcements from Comic Con 2019. We also speak on the year-on-year decline on Xbox One console sales and whether Microsoft are correct in blaming it on generation fatigue.

Also, we spoke on the new battery life improvements for the Nintendo Switch. The following information about the console comes from Techradar:

The new Switch has a slightly different model number to the original – it’s HAC-001(-01), while the first version was simply HAC-001 – which indicates the minor nature of the upgrade; however the much-improved battery life is a real plus.

In terms of cost, the Nintendo Switch price stays the same, at $299.99 / £279.99 / $469.95, so you won’t have to pay any more for that improved battery performance.
