On this week’s episode of The Co-op we welcome former guests Anthony Frasier and Jakejames Lugo back to discuss some of the latest in gaming. During one of our discussions we digressed onto an unintended topic, in which we evaluated whether the Xbox One launch is indeed stronger (and more varied) than the Playstation 4. It’s a question that will likely come down to personal preference, but I personally feel as though we’ll still be treated to a few launch titles we have yet to learn of.
As for our main topics, we started out discussing the recent news that the Kinect no longer needs to be connected to the Xbox One for it to function. It seems as though Microsoft has been doing everything they can to improve the Xbox One’s reputation, and this latest change should bring a halt to a lot of the initial complaints.
Today we’ll be getting the first look at the Call of Duty: Ghost multiplayer, and then tomorrow we have the Grand Theft Auto V multiplayer reveal to look forward to. With both of these blockbuster I.P’s revealing their multiplayer gameplay in the same week, who will have the better showing? We each gave our expectations, so let us know what you think and be on the lookout for the Call of Duty footage later today.
Finally we felt it was necessary to offer up some predictions for Gamescom which kicks off next week. I personally think we’ll get a release date for both consoles, along with some new game announcements. But as always, let us know what you’re expecting to happen.
We hope you enjoy episode 56 of The Co-op and leave lots of comments below.
