Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!
Since it is the end of September, we thought we’d try something a little different and discuss some of the games we’re most looking forward to this year. Gaming’s biggest hitters are released during the Fall/holiday season and this year is no exception. Watch_Dogs 2, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4, The Last Guardian, Mafia III, and more are coming to collectively empty our bank accounts. We discuss which games will have the most impact and which ones may fall by the wayside.
Other topics we discuss:
– Hello Games under investigation for false advertising with No Man’s Sky
– Xbox fanboys believe Scorpio will be cheaper and more powerful
– Microsoft wanted to sell 200 million Xbox Ones
– Nintendo doubling down on its blue ocean strategy for NX
