Throwdown Ep. 79 – Unstable Quantum State

Written by on

Welcome to another episode of Throwdown. On this podcast/vidcast we discuss the latest video game news and topics in an uncompromising and honest manner. No developer, publisher, or fanboy is safe from us!

Quantum Break has been released and it is a great game by all accounts. If you’re playing it on Xbox One that is. The PC port of the game is suffering from a number of performance issues that make it fall severely short of its console counterpart. With the recently released Windows version of Gears of War HD also having a questionable PC port, we question the point of buying these games on the supposedly superior machine when they run much better on the comparatively weaker Xbox One.

Other topics we discuss on the show:

– The Baldur’s Gate expansion controversy
– Blizzard possibly trolls the internet by giving tracer an overtly sexy ass pose
– Capcom admits Street Fighter V was designed for the FGC crowd
– The “controversy” surrounding the female lead in Rogue One
