Last night at The Game Awards we were treated to a small teaser of The Walking Dead: Michonne. The game seems like it make be set around Michonne’s absence from the comic series, explaining what she was doing while she was away.
There aren’t much details yet, but we do know that award-winning actress Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black) will portray the iconic character.
We don’t know if they’ll ever continue on with Clementine’s story from TellTale’s previous series set in The Walking Dead world, but until that’s clear there’s no doubt that The Walking Dead: Michonne will pay off for those who follow the comic books.
The Walking Dead: Michonne will be available as a stand-alone three-episode series on PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. TellTale also revealed a Batman series last night at The Game Awards, so they’re on a roll with the licensed properties.
