Earlier today, Bandai Namco Entertainment released the first official gameplay trailer for their upcoming action role-playing game titled Code Vein. The brief video is embedded above for all of you to check out.
Code Vein is being developed by the same talented team behind God Eater. The story takes place within a future dystopia filled with vampires. The footage above introduces us to the setting, several bloodthirsty creatures, a few weapon combat scenarios, and some brief companion gameplay mechanics. This title is already being compared to games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but it’s very hard to tell how challenging gameplay will be this early on. Code Vein isn’t expected to launch until sometime in 2018 but there is a slight chance that we will learn more about this game at E3 2017.
