During their PlayStation Experience event last weekend, Sony showed off some new footage of their upcoming title, The Order: 1886. During the keynote we were only given a small slice to whet our appetite but today we’re here to give you a fuller meal. This video contains 15 minute of alternate Victorian-era goodness for us all to enjoy.
Though this game centers around the protagonists facing off against all manner of supernatural baddies, this video showcases battles against human enemies. The “rebels”, as they’re called, are attempting to assassinate a prominent figure on board an airship. The members of The Order have to board the vessel and stop the rebels before they succeed in their plan.
The video shows some of the game’s gunplay as well as the impressive graphics. Many believe that The Order: 1886 is mostly comprised of cinematic cutscenes but this video quickly dispels that notion with a lot of in-game action. It should also be noted that the game, whether it be in cinematics or gameplay, looks consistently amazing.
The Order: 1886 will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 on February 20, 2015.
