Telltale Games has just released a new trailer for Tales from the Borderlands. This video shows us what to expect from the Adventure Game masters.
Tales from the Borderlands is set after the events of Borderlands 2. This will be a five-part episodic adventure which takes place on Pandora and follows two adventurers on their “quest for greatness.”
From the press-release:
“You’ll play as Rhys, a Hyperion ‘suit’ with dreams of being the next Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her biggest ever swindle. Thrown together as unwilling partners in an adventure to recover cash they both think is theirs, their journey will take you on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters are just some of the obstacles you’ll encounter, in this new take on the award-winning universe created by Gearbox Software.”
We also got some information on the cast for this season which includes Troy Baker as Rhys, Laura Bailey as Fiona, Chris Hardwick as Vaughn, Erin Yvette as Sasha,Patrick Warburton as Vasquez, and Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack. There will be more casting news revealed later.
Episodes of Tales from the Borderlands will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One for $4.99 each. There will be season passes available on both consoles: $19.99 on PlayStation and $14.99 on Xbox. Note that on PlayStation the season pass gets players the full five episodes while on Xbox it gets them episodes 2-5. The series will also be available for PC/Mac through the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other online outlets as a Season Pass for US$24.99. This includes all five episodes as they release. The series will also be available for iOS and Android devises before the end of this year.
