During today’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games for both Wii U and 3DS was announced.
While a release date was not announced during the broadcast, the company did confirm it will be tied to next August’s Olympic Games in Brazil.

The game will feature a number of summer-inspired sporting events, including soccer, golf, beach volleyball, rugby and track-and-field.
