Courtesy of Mass Appeal’s youtube, a snippet of “The Season” was played by the man himself during the Run The Jewels fan appreciation event. Over the ill “Gobstopper” instrumental from the late, legendary J Dilla, Nas weaves his usual lyrical tapestry and the Nas/Dilla combo sounds just as epic as one would imagine.
Not sure exactly where this track will land, but if Nas is plotting a project with this type of sound……honestly I’d be down for new Nas regardless. Tracks like this will be icing on the cake.
