Earlier today, Rockstar Games released the first official gameplay trailer for their upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 video game. The trailer embedded above is over 6 minutes long and gives a detailed overview of what we can expect from this highly anticipated action-adventure game. It’s also worth noting that everything presented in this video is based on in-game footage running in 4K.
After watching this video, I must admit that I’m rather surprised by just how much gameplay Rockstar showed us in this trailer. Normally, companies will be quick to ask customers for pre-orders and show little to no gameplay in advance to build interest.
Red Dead Redemption 2 debunks this trend by showing incredible gameplay footage and is now firmly cemented into the GOTY 2018 discussion. October can’t come soon enough.
