Despite my wariness of the title, I decided to buy and install The Division. When the game went live last night, I booted it up and played through the first mission. Well, played as much as I could before the servers died and the game kicked me out. I recorded the whole thing for you guys to enjoy.
Please keep in mind that this is just my impression of the first hour or so of The Division. But even then it didn’t exactly strike me as anything overly original or unique. The gunplay is fun and I enjoyed the cover mechanics, but overall I am not that impressed by what I have played so far. This could obviously change the deeper I get into the game, but right now the game isn’t looking like it will live up to the hype its generated.
