Deus Ex: Human Revolution was an extremely underrated classic from the last generation. The game did well, but it came from nowhere, people weren’t expecting it. But it seems Square Enix are adamant on letting the world know how awesome Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is going to be.
Yesterday an Eidos Montreal rep confirmed via the official Deus Ex Twitter account that the next installment in the popular cyberpunk-themed series would be revealed today. GameInformer then confirmed that the cover story for their May issue would be based on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
It seems that the premise for this title will be a war between augmented human factions and the non-augmented public. Super augmented protagonist Adam Jensen will likely step-in to bring order. This series is cyber-punk at its finest, and we’ve waited too long for another entry in the series. Check out the awesome trailer above and let us know how you feel about it.
The game is confirmed for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Perhaps we’ll get an official release date two months from now at E3 2015.
