Microsoft will soon enable cross-play between its Windows 10 devices. This includes PC, Xbox One, and mobile devices. What’s more interesting here though is that they will also open this up for “other platforms.” What does this mean? That we could potentially see PlayStation 4 users playing online games with those on Xbox One.
We’ve had console segregation for decades and this may soon come to an end. I give my take on this potential development and explains why this is a great thing for gamers and for the industry as a whole.
