Ladies and gentleman, here is your Call of Duty: Black Ops box art (try saying that fast ten times). While some may dismiss it as simply the pre-order poster with an Xbox swirl on top I’m actually really digging what Activision and Trey Arch are going for here. The past three Call Of Duty covers have all looked pretty similar making them almost indecipherable to the casual crowd. This new direction hints at a more dark and sinister tone which for me would be a welcome change. My only gripe is every time I look at the cover I can’t help but think of Rogue Warrior, I’m half expecting the guy on the front to pull out a knife and start mumbling expletives at me while stabbing me under arteries.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops will hit stores for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on Novemeber 9.
